Joy: Part 1 "What is Joy and Where does It Come From"

Did you have joy? Honestly, ask yourself are filled with true, pure joy? As Christians we should we living joyful lives, but most of the times our days are filled sorrow, sadness, and pain. Even in our good days, we rarely are joyful.  Having joy is our choice; it is not forced upon us. It something we choose to have.
Before you can have joy, you must understand it. So let’s explore what joy truly is. The dictionary defines joy as an emotion of great delight or happiness caused by something exceptionally good or satisfying; keen pleasure; elation. Now what is more satisfying than Jesus!
In the bible Joy is defined as one the nine fruits of the Holy Spirit in Galatians 5:22. Roman 14:17 says, “For the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.” We should be walking the Holy Spirit every day, and as result joy should manifested in our lives every day.
